Abstract:
Purpose – The objective of this paper is to examine the impact of Human Resource Analytics (HRA) on recruitment and selection, as well as training and development. In this regard, it assesses employee performance in chain hotels located in Bangalore.
Methodology – This study is empirical, with data obtained through a structured questionnaire directed at human resource managers of chain hotels in Bangalore, utilizing a sample size of 50 participants.
Finding – Recruitment and Selection along with training and development are critical aspects therefore HRA is integrated into recruitment and selection, training, and development processes. Training and development significantly influence HRA, serving as a key factor in recruitment and selection. Consequently, HRA positively affects employee performance management in chain hotels.
Practical implications – This research emphasizes the importance for chain hotels to incorporate HRA within their fundamental HR functions related to training and development. Considering the technological openness of the younger workforce, hotels should leverage data-driven insights to create personalized training. HRA should enhance recruitment and selection processes to ensure the right candidates are chosen. Additionally, HRA will enable chain hotels to boost employee performance and maintain a competitive advantage in the hotel industry.
Originality – This paper provides insights into how HRA affects recruitment and selection, training, and development, and evaluates employee performance in chain hotels in Bangalore.
